The Federal Bureau of Investigations executed a search of Texoma Pain and Spine Center in Wichita Falls, Texas, and confiscated several boxes from inside the clinic last Thursday, according to a Texomas report.
The practice is run by neurosurgeon Sanjoy Sundaresan, MD, who claims to be unaware of the reason for this investigation. However, Wichita Falls attorney Steve Briley claims to represent at least one patient in a lawsuit against Dr. Sundaresan. The practice is cooperating with the investigation, and it reopened the following day.
Dr. Sundaresan was disciplined in 2006 by the Texas Medical Board for inadequately kept medical records.
