The Las Vegas MSK Ultrasound and Orthobiologics Course
January 24 - January 26
Experienced faculty of orthopedic surgeons will lead this economical and practical MSK Ultrasound and Orthobiologic training course.
The course focuses on the most clinically relevant diagnostic and injection guidance tips and current state-of-the-art orthobiologics practices.
The 2 day MSK Ultrasound portion of the course (January 25-26) focuses on ultrasound scanning tips and the ultrasound anatomy important for everyday clinical practice. Topics include shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, and foot/ankle anatomy. Pathology and injection techniques are also demonstrated in depth through clinical video and live hands-on afternoon sessions. By providing one model and ultrasound machine for every two participants and one faculty for every four participants, the organizers ensure the most comprehensive hands-on learning experience for participants. With multiple MSK ultrasound vendors in attendance, participants will have a chance to see the latest machines. There is also an update on current coding, billing, and certification.
The 1/2 day Orthobiologics Seminar on January 24 is a basic science and clinical update on current best practices for using PRP and stem cells in orthopedics. During the seminar live ultrasound guided bone marrow aspiration will be demonstrated to maximize successful learning of procedure.
Course is limited to 75 participants.
